Have you ever thought about the process of clouds, how they can form rainbows, etc.? Usually if you want to know, you open it on Google, right? Google explains the process of something happening coherently in a text. The text is called an explanatory text. Teka Eksplanasi is a text that contains an explanation of the process of natural and social phenomena occurring. The content of this text is in the form of actual facts and can be accounted for. This text is called informative text because it educates readers to add insight.

There are various types of explanatory texts. There is an explanatory text about the process of something happening. This type of text contains a sequence of processes of a phenomenon. There is also an explanatory text that contains cause and effect. This text explains why something can happen and the consequences if something happens.

This text also uses conjunctions (conjunctions), passive words, denotative words (words that have true meanings) technical words (scientific words) etc.

In essence, an explanatory text is a text that explains the natural and social phenomena that occur around us. This text provides knowledge and changes our mindset that everything that happens in this world is not accidental. Everything has a long process.
