Don't Underestimate your mental health

Mental health is the state, thoughts, feelings and behaviors that affect the way a person acts in everyday life. Just like physical health, mental health also needs to be maintained so that we can lead a happy and productive life. Mental health plays the most important role in a person's life.

It is undeniable that a problem must have a cause. The same goes for mental disorders. This can be influenced by many things. If a family has a history of it, it may be passed on to their children. In addition, toxic environments, past trauma, discrimination, and negative media exposure can also increase the risk of mental disorders. 

The phenomenon of mental health in Indonesia is still considered a taboo. People are reluctant to talk about or seek help for their emotional problems. This is due to social stigma and lack of understanding of the issue. They worry about being considered abnormal by others. In fact, seeking help from a psychologist is necessary to avoid more serious mental problems. In addition, many people do not realize how important it is to maintain mental health. 

Therefore, it is important for all of us to be more aware that mental health is just as important as physical health. We need to be more open and empathetic to our friends who have symptoms of mental illness. We need to remove the negative stigma. The more people of mental health the easier it is to seek access to help from a psychologist
